Stolen? (Solo exhibition)

Stolen? A solo exhibition held at Artwaves Studios in Nile Street, Burslem.

The work on display explored surface, pattern and colour, and included painting and installation. Surfaces are built up by applying ceramic lithographs, paint and finally using varnishes to create a crackle effect on some of the works. The paintings are reminiscent of ceramic plate designs and classic paintings, bringing the both painting and ceramic histories together.
